It all began with a pencil, a giant one. 6 ft. tall to be exact. I entered this piece into the Niza Knoll papier mâché call for entry and I got in! I never expected such a simple and “kitsch” piece of art could garner so much attention. It’s titled “Rough Draft”. In a lot of ways this was my rough draft in becoming an artist.
